Now that I have had my Shark-Fin cane for a while, I just thought that I would let you know how happy I am with my purchase. I am a rather large guy, needing a VERY sturdy 38.5 inch cane. I have found my Shark-Fin cane to be the sturdiest and most beautiful cane that I have ever owned. It is both strong and light, and the wood is so beautiful that strangers have complimented me on its appearance. The manufacturer did a wonderful job in finishing the cane, and the finish both protects and complements the natural wood grain. In short, I could not be happier, and I am contemplating purchasing a second one already!

As a former Military Police Instructor and Monadnock baton instructor, I love my new cane. It has been easy for me to apply the training and tactics I have learned over the years. I received the cane a few weeks ago and have been practicing with it since then. The craftsmanship and finish are excellent. It has good balance and the triple grips make it easy to use both ends of the cane. The crook is wide enough for hooking legs, arms, or necks, and the point on the crook would be a good "persuader" as is the shark fin. It is also an attractive and functional walking stick.

When I went searching the web a few weeks ago I ran into your website. I was enthralled with the fact you made a cane that is truly useful as an ambulatory assistance device and a powerful self defense device. I immediately bought the Shark-Fin Cane. it turned out to be superb in both areas and cant be beat as a comfortable walking assistance device. In my youth I spent several years studying the Martial Arts, I found that my training of those days translated diretly into capable and effective self defense use of the Shark-Fin cane. It was like riding a bike; my muscle memory was still there and the defensive use of the cane came to me immediately. I feel like I am no longer just a person with a disability but a person not to be fooled with. Thank you for making such a great cane.

My cane is beautiful, craftsmanship is excellent; the best cane I have used. The thumb-rest is very fit, and comfortable to handle it. Once you learn to use it, you can face any situation of quick attack. The wide crook makes it easier to hook legs and arms to control them. Definitely the best cane design for protection.

I chose the Shark-Fin Cane made from Hickory with Heartwood, Birds Head Horn Tip with yellow eyes. At your recommendation I opted for the organic Tung Oil finish and 39 inch length. &nbnsp;The moment I opened the package and held my cane I knew it was special. I have other Cane Masters canes, and they are of quality, but this one is superlative. The Hickory with Heartwood cane stock is perfect, 50/50 light and dark with good straight grain. The Shark-Fin looks and feels as if it grew organically from the stock. The finish is wonderfully silken smooth. The cuts of the grips are sharp, crisp and accurate. The maker of this cane deserves high praise. I have not placed it upon scales for a weight comparison, but it feels lighter and livelier than my other canes and is perfectly balanced. This cane has Qi /spirit / medicine. No imagery can do it justice; it must be handled to be appreciated.
